TransReview Note: Sadly we have none of these comics in our possession, so we are presenting you with this summary from Rob's Transformers Page. And sadly, Rob's info on this series is incomplete, if you can help out get in touch with Rob.

As part of their Robot Masters line of small-sized Transformers, Takara of Japan included a promotional catalog and pack-in comic with the toys. Additional chapters (most only one or two pages long) of the Robot Masters story were periodically posted on Takara's web site.

It is the year 2004. As the Cybertrons are constructing their new "Scramble City" fortress, they are suddenly attacked by the Destrons! Cybertron Commander Convoy dashes into battle and instantly spots something is different -- fighting alongside the Destron's regular forces of vehicles and weapons are dinosaurs!

The lead dinosaur yells "Terrorize!", instantly transforming into Beast Megatron. He and the other new Destrons have arrived on Earth from the planet Energois via a space warp, the Blasty Zone. Their target is a Seibertronian mineral called solitarium, which the Cybertrons had intended to use to mobilize Scramble City itself.

Just as Convoy is prepared to attack Beast Megatron, he is suddenly overwhelmed with strange memories, of battles he's never fought, Cybertron and Destron warriors he's never seen. Before he can react, a vortex of energy bursts from the center of his body...

The energy burst vanishes quickly, revealing a new warrior -- Beast Convoy! As Beast Megatron gapes in surprise, the two Convoys shake hands, then join forces in battle against the Destrons...
In combat with the Destrons, the Cybertrons are being soundly beaten by Smokesniper and Giganto-Bomb. Convoy and Beast Convoy fight with no effect, as Giganto-Bomb boasts how he uses Solitarium energy to harden himself against all attacks.

Before the Destrons can finish the battle, two new warriors appear on a nearby hillside -- Star Saber and Victory Leo! The two Cybertrons quickly fuse to form Victory Saber, then circle around the Destrons and attack!

Severely wounded, Giganto-Bomb and Smokesniper quickly retreat, leaving the Cybertron commanders to pledge to fight together against Beast Megatron and the Destron forces.
At the undersea Destron base, Air Hunter calls the other Destrons to examine the mysterious "psychic orb" he retrieved. He brings important news -- with the orb's telepathic powers, Air Hunter has felt the mental presence of G1 Megatron, the missing Destron warrior! While the others cheered at this news, Beast Megatron pondered how to turn this to his advantage. As a short-term response, he dispatches Smokesniper and Giant-Bomb to investigate the location where Air Hunter felt the "presence," and orders Starscream, Wrecker Hook, and Wingstun to monitor the Cybertrons...

Meanwhile, the Cybertrons are busy with a discovery of their own, as Ligier spots a new mechanoid who's collapsed outside of their base. The Cybertrons bring him inside, where he soon recovers and introduces himself as Reverse Convoy. He was originally from a planet called Vehicon, but was engulfed by an energy orb and appeared on this planet. When the Cybertrons ask why he had collapsed, he explains that when he first arrived, he was promptly attacked by someone called "G1 Megatron".

This news worries the heroes, so G1 Convoy assembles a small team to investigate where Reverse Convoy was attacked. However, Beast Convoy and Lio Convoy remain suspicious, and Lio Convoy agrees to stay behind if something unexpected happens. Beast Convoy and the others then leave to investigate Reverse Convoy's arrival site -- Sherman Dam.
