US comics have their UK comics equivalent listed to the right its title.
UK comics have the story title within quotes. Review goes by the UK comic
order. Both US and UK comics are listed for the sake of continuity.

2 Power Play #3, 4

9-12 "Man of Iron" (see US #33, 34)

13-17 "The Enemy Within"

An accident causes Brawn to resent his fellow Autobots overusing his
immense strength. So much so that he becomes quite a problem. Meanwhile,
Starscreams' desire to lead the Decepticons causes him to act irrationally.
As a result for his misconduct, Megatron allows Starscream a trial by
combat. A dishonored Brawn volunteers to be the opponent. The two fight,
and with the help of Mirage, it seems like Starscream wins. When Megatron
finds out about this, beware Autobots.

18-21 "Raiders of the Last Ark"

A all out Con assault on the Ark is aborted after Teletran (called
Auntie in this story) goes out of control. Ravage and Windcharger work
together to shut her down.

5 The New Order #22, 23
6 The Worse of Two Evils #24, 25
7 Warrior School #26
8 Repeat Performances #27, 28

29, 30 "Decepticon Dam Busters"
Similar to the cartoon episode of the same name where the Decepticons
try to get energy from a dam. To evade the Autobots they blow the dam. The
Autobots save a nearby town.

31 "The Wrath of Guardian"
Swoop arrives ahead of the other Dinobots and Ratchet and discovers a
Decepticon controlled Autobot by the name of Guardian. Guardian gives the
Dinobots a severe thrashing until Ratchet acts to stop the droid using its
weakness. With Wheeljacks' help, they track down the droid... but the
Dinobots have already found him, and what's worse is that Guardian is a
literal bomb, ready to go off.

32 "The Wrath of Grimlock"
Grimlock is set to blow a hole in the robot Guardian left behind in
the Ark by Shockwave. But if he does, Guardian's fail safe will ignite
and destroy the Ark! So, Wheeljack takes remote control of the
decapitated body of Optimus Prime and subdues Grimlock. This gives the
Guardian time to escape where he begins running diagnostics. It logically
decides that the best course of action is to activate the timer on his
fail safe just in case it fails personally to take care of the Autobots.
It storms the Autobots, who try to fight back. With the timer close to
zero, Swoop transforms and flies the Guardian away, but apparently he
doesn't do it enough time to save himself. Believed to be dead, the
Autobots hold a ceremony for Swoop, the Dinobots go off on their own after
their own destiny, and Ratchet returns to reactivating an Ark full of
Autobots.

9 Dis-integrated Circuits #33, 34

41 "Christmas Breaker"
Circuit Breaker has plans... to kill the Transformers for making her a
cripple. Meanwhile, the Autobots are indulging Buster by decorating a
"Christmas tree". Afterward, Jazz takes Buster on a ride... and in the ice
and snow has an accident, which CB sees. Buster manages to convince her that
Jazz did not hurt him on purpose.

42-44 "Crisis of Command"
Optimus has a hard decision to make and is getting pressure to make
it, this decision could bring forth the creation of ultimate Autobot
Guardians made specifically to destroy the Cons. Once Prime makes his
decision, Ravage makes his way out of area with Bumblebee in tow.
Bumblebee is captured and psychologically tortured. He is freed by Optimus
who reaffirms his decision NOT to use the Matrix to make these ultimate
Autobots.

45, 46 "The Icarus Theory"
Professor Morris fails to convince his superiors that Transformers
are controlled by Blackrock. Morris secretly builds a machine to control
them. In a swamp he discovers the missing Dinobot, Swoop, and uses his
machine to control him. In fact he uses Swoop to attack the ARK! The other
Autobots try to subdue him, but to no avail. Optimus orders Swoop to stop,
knowing that Swoops' hatred for orders would break the mental control.
Morris destroys his machine and is arrested. Swoop attacks again, but is
pacified and transferred to med bay, where it is found he had a mental
breakdown due to his cybodendrons burning out after his extended burial in
a tar pit. Knowing this, the Autobots begin the Dinobot Hunt.

47-50 "Dinobot Hunt"
Some army units find Snarl in the midst of a sandstorm in Nevada.
Mirage, Trailbreaker, and Brawn save the humans from harm. It seems Snarl
and his fellow Dinobots are suffering from some sort of madness, supposedly
cause by many years buried beneath tar. Snarl attacks a secret human
military base and the commander of the base decides in order to stop the
threat, he'll have to blow up the base. The shock of the blast triggers
Snarl to transform and then becomes unconscious before his fellow Bots.
Meanwhile, in California, Windcharger, Gears, and Cliffjumper have the
unpleasant task of finding Sludge in a swamp. Sludge is found by a female
human first and befriends the Dinobot. Unfortunately, the Decepticons
Soundwave, Skywarp and Scavenger find the Dinobot and human and then take
care of the Bots. Later, the said Cons discover an injured Laserbeak who
reports about an incident between humans and Slag. The Autobots Jazz,
Ironhide, and Jetfire attempt to stop the humans from getting hurt. They
manage to stop Slag and use Laserbeak to prevent damage to Jetfire. The last
Autobot team which was to take on Grimlock are severely hurt and Optimus
goes to do what he can for them. Meanwhile, a Con controlled Sludge is
fighting his leader Grimlock. The fight leads to a lake, which fits
perfectly with Primes plan. Prowl crash lands a electrically charged shuttle
into the lake and the shock stops Grimlock. An explosion near Sludge shock
him unconscious and the Dinobot Hunt is over.

59, 60 "Robot Buster"
Wheeljack and Ratchet create a robot body for Buster in order for the
boy to better protect himself, which does not please Optimus at all.
Optimus orders the suit destroyed, but Buster has other plans and soon
returns to take the suit. Later he discovers Frenzy near the old Con base
and gets more than he bargained for when Shockwave shows up. Buster gives it
his best, by Shockwave finally is able to remove the human from the suit.
The Autobots show up just in time to save the boy, but Shockwave now knows
the Bots weakness.. that the human means a great deal to them and that he
will be their ultimate downfall.

(unable to review, do not have these issues)

Buster is having nightmares, and they include the combining teams,
which have not been created.. yet. Optimus decides that he should see this
nightmare and the Cons find out about the experiment and are able to tap
into the dream. While Shockwave prepares the constructions of the Con
Special Teams, Soundwave reports to Megatron. Megatron and Shockwave duke it
out for the leadership of the Cons. Soundwave realizes that both are evenly
matched and just as conceited to realize it and tells them to knock it off.

74-77 "In the National Interest" (repeated #302-307)

78-88 "Target: 2006"
While Prime is having to deal with the Dinobots leaving the Autobots,
taking with them a human crafted mechanoid named Centurion, Emirate Xaaron
has to deal with a miffed Impactor. He wants to be sure Ultra Magnus is
ready in time for Operation: Volcano, which Xaaron assures him the Magnus
will be. Optimus, Ratchet, and Prowl mysteriously disappear before the
shocked optics of their fellow Bots, and elsewhere three Cons appear..
from the future, they are Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge. Cyclonus and
Scourge make nuisances of themselves attacking human settlements as the
Bots spy on the present day Cons to see if they were involved in the
disappearance of their friends. The future Cons meet with the present day
Cons, Galvatron wants to borrow the Constructicons and are forced to
"convince" Megatron into letting them have them. Meanwhile, Ultra Magnus
is ready to go to Earth. The Constructicons build Galvatron a large gun
that will kill Unicron when he happens upon Cybertron in 2005. Ultra
Magnus arrives to present day Earth and helps out the present day Bots
that were spying on the Cons. Magnus returns the injured Bots to base and
learns of what happened with the Cons and with their missing comrades.
Galvatron gives them a buzz to show off his new toy, the VVH, that he's
using on Jazz. The Bots go to rescue their friend and are soundly
defeated. Ironhide realizes that their only chance to find Megatron and
Soundwave. On Cybertron, the Wreckers are practicing for the upcoming
Operation: Volcano. Meanwhile, at the Ark Starscream awakens and he can't
believe what he's seeing! Megatron at the Ark, commanding the Bots as to
how to attack Galvatron. Ultra Magnus tries to find out what happened to
Prime and the others. The Bots go after Scourge as Galvatron reveals to
Jazz that he is a future version of Megatron. Impactor is attacked by
Triple Changers, which later turn out to be Autobots who are testing the
Wrecker leaders abilities. Galvatron explains to Jazz about the weapon
that the Constructicons built. Future Bots come to our time, Hot Rod,
Kup, Blurr and a hitchhiking Wreck-Gar.. Shockwave, Skywarp and Frenzy
disappear just and Prime and the others did. Starscream joins forces with
Galvatron as the future Bots meet up with Magnus. An exchange of prisoners
(Jazz for Scourge) occurs but does not turn out well when Jazz goes
berserk (thanks to Galvatron remote control). Magnus is briefed by the
future Bots and goes to find them future Cons. Galvatron and Magnus have
it out, Galvatron wins. He drags Magnus back to the site of his weapon and
discovers his lieutenants unconscious (thanks to the future Bots) and
said Bots detonate bombs. Starscream (actually a repainted twin of his)
claims he has done this and Galvatron destroys him. Then he realizes that
this cannot be the universe he wanted, but a parallel one and uses his
time jump device to go back to the future. The future Bots put the real
Starscream in cold storage and return to the future as well. Ultra Magnus
realizes that he has spent too much time on Earth for Operation: Volcano
has begun without him and returns to the Cybertron of his time. The
Wreckers go on without him, awaiting for the Cons to strike at a trap set
up by the Bots and using Xaaron as the bait. Impactor takes a death
dealing blow for Xaaron during the Con attack and dies. Springer is named
the new Wreckers leader. On Earth, the Bots and Cons that had disappeared
have returned.

when he fell of the Space Bridge thanks to laser, tried to switch places
with Megatron. The switch didn't work so Lord Straxxus and Megatron are
fighting for supremacy over Megatrons' body. The two Autobots find him and
Megatron uses his ability to hook up to a black hole. Ratbat acts and send
the three back to Earth via the Space Bridge.

rebuilding him. Death's Head is out to get Cyclonus and Scourge, who
interfered with his Rodimus Prime hit, and suitably trashed them. A
Junkion pops up claiming he's the only one with a mind of his own and has
Death's Head and the Con duo to take a look. Unicron takes their minds
over too, except Death's Head resists him the best he can. Smokescreen,
Inferno and Wreck Gar see what's going on and try to leave. Death's Head
injures Inferno and Wreck Gar buy the other two time to go tell Rodimus
about Unicron. Death's Head then goes to Shockwave, who is the current
Con leader, with Cyclonus and Scourge pretending to be dead. Soundwave
ruins this ploy with his mind reading ability. Death's Head goes after
Shockwave and kills him. Death's Head returns with Shockwaves' head and
bluffs Soundwave into proclaiming Cyclonus and Scourge as the new leaders.
After this, they proclaim war on the Autobots. Smokescreen shows up in
Cybertronian air space while the battle is raging and his ship is heavily
damaged. Inferno boots Smokescreen out of the ship and to safety as he
heeds the ship straight into the Con forces. Smokescreen tells Rodimus
about Unicorn and he head to Junk hoping that the Matrix can conquer
Unicron. Death's Head finally succeeds in crossing the astral plane and is
inside Unicrons mind, Unicron is so impressed by this feeble attempt to
attack him that he tell him about his origin. Turns out that he and he
arch enemy, Primus Lord of the Light Gods, had a bug tussle when the
universe was very young. Primus couldn't defeat him in the physical or
astral planes so he led him and into a trap. The two materialized in
barren planetoids, and Primus sealed their path so that they were stuck in
their prisons. Unicron formed his into a planet and then further so that
had a robot form. Primus formed his into Cybertron and created beings who
mimic Unicrons ability to change at will and furthermore placed his
essence into the Matrix. The Autobots attack Unicron after all of this and
Death's Head is cast out of Unicrons mind. Death's Head attacks Unicron,
and his blast causes rocks to fall on Wreck Gar who had just set a time to
enough explosive to blow Unicron up. The bots distract Unicron, Death's
Head chats with Rodimus and they set it up so Rodimus can go into Unicrons
mind. Death's Head digs out Wreck Gar then pulls Rodimus out of Unicrons'
mind just in time. Cyclonus and Scourge show up, Death's Head carries them
through a nearby time portal as the explosives blow. Unicrons' evil is
absorbed by the Matrix. The lieutenants end up under the leadership of
Scorponok, of Death's Head there is no trace.

152, 153 "Enemy Action"
Galvatron is on the loose again after having dug himself out of his
volcanic rock tomb. He heads the Con HQ and Shockwave sicked the Seacons on
him, who are easily beaten. On the beach, the Sparkler mini-bots tussle with
the Firecons. Galvatron gets into HQ and points out how Shockwave has made
an enemy of him by sending the Seacons against him and he leaves. A short
time later he runs into the combatants and the Firecons try to get him to
return to Cybertron with them. He laughs at them and leaves.

repair Megatrons body, but his mind is a vegetable so they put a psycho
probe on him to salvage his mind. What they find is that Megatron is
running from the one thing that frightens him, namely Optimus Prime. Lord

There are two new pages of exposition, one at the beginning of #180 and
one at the end of #181, that tells the tale of a torturer trying to extract
information from the imprisoned Wreck Gar. He tells his torturer the tale
of "The Big Broadcast of 2006." The torture reveals the information he has
gleaned to his employers: the Quintessons! They've been looking for the
journal referenced in Wreck Gar's story, but they point out that it is a
fabrication because Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge are no longer in 2006.
They sentence both prisoner and jailor to execution on Quintessa and prepare
their final push for "Space Pirates."

that, they're trying to do the same to the cons. Well, Soundwave's the
leader these days and he calls the Bots for help. Later, Rodimus goes to
the city see his comrades strung up then spots Arcee. As he heals her with
the Matrix, the Quints take it and he reverts to Hot Rod. He and Arcee run
for it and elude the Quints, they head for the roof and Rod climbs down to
see if any of Blaster tapes are at home. On Cybertron, Magnus and the Bots
come to assist the cons. Meanwhile Wreck Gar and Wheelie make it to an
asteroid where fellow Junkions have set up a little satellite hook-up to
transmit the contents of a quint canister. At Autobot City, Rod awakens
Metroplex as the quint squad leader Gyrik tries to stop him. Gyrik fetches
the matrix to use it against Hot Rod. On Cybertron, the combined might of
the Bots and cons ˙˙defeat the quints. Soundwave thanks Magnus and almost
hints at them being able to end the war. The canisters' tale of how the
Quints were planning to use several other mechanical worlds as possible
