Cover: Ratchet seemingly under attack - The cover graphics are good, more rounded and less detailed than Dreamwaves covers, yet better and more accurate than Marvel's original covers

Story: The story is good, it centres around a runaway named Verity Carlo and a conspiracy theorist Hunter O'Nion. Verity has come into posession of a palm computer that contains some dangerous data (all this must have happened in issue #0) the story opens on the two humans in Ratchet racing away at a very, very illegal speed with his hologram doing the driving. We soon see why as Runabout and Runamuck arrive and try to run them off the road. With skill and luck Ratchet evades them only to find Thundercracker following them in the air. With a smokescreen Ratchet evades him and we begin to delve into the past of Ratchet, we find out that the Autobot HQ is a spacecraft parked underwater and that Ratchet is out and about without authorization. Verity gets them to head for Riverside where she knows of a mechanic who will fix Ratchet, with the hologram's help. Outside the 3 Decepticons are still hunting for the Autobot and humans. Meanwhile Hunter has gotten the palm computer out of Verity's bag and taken a look at what's on it. He proceeds to show it to Ratchet, much to the indignation of Verity. Ratchet tells them they're in terrible danger because as we see, the palm computer shows Starscream transforming. Verity, angry at them storms outside. Seconds later she runs back in and stammers about a Decepticon changing outside. Second later the door to the garage is smashed and ripped away by Runabout and Runamuck who demande teh data storage device (palm computer) ... To Be Continued...

Graphics: The graphics in this are amazing, not quite up to Dreamwave's level, but still amazing compared to the original Marvel comics. The Transformer detail is much improved, the humans however are closer to Marvel's ones than Dreamwave's.

Bonuses: A coming nest issue two page spread in black and white shows snippets of what's to come as well as a little text blurb. Also included is a 3 page preview of Transformers Beast Wars issue #1 which basically tells the history of the Beast Wars as we saw them in the cartoon series.

Readers Letters: In this series they've decided to call them Decepticomments which I admit is kinda cool sounding. It comes with it's own editor outfitted in his own Transformer getup (a racy sports car I think)
