Transformers, Devil's Due acquired the rights to
G.I. Joe. And when fan demand for franchise crossovers reached a crescendo, both companies responded with a partnership that resulted in multiple crossover titles between them...

As part of Hasbro's launch of the
Transformers: Armada toy line, Panini got the rights to develop an
Armada comic book for the European market.

Since Takara produces and promotes Transformers in Japan, it's not surprising that they produced their own comics.
